Re: Rexall Edmonton GrandPrix Discussion
Food choices sucked BIG TIME. Let's see... you can choose between hot dogs, burgers, ice cream, hot dogs, lemonade, hot dogs, burgers....oops almost forgot hot dogs.
We were stunned that at an event like that, one couldn't buy a slice of pizza anywhere.
The race this year took a large step backwards in terms of services for the fans. They better get that changed for next year.I will not, for a moment longer, support an organization who chooses to cowardly kneel where they once fiercely & proudly stood

How would that be better? It would be harder to see the racing andit would be harder to get into for fans.
Overall it was another great weekend and I had a great time friday morning with TheTeam1260.A lot of people go through life doing things badly. Racing is important to men who do it well. Re: Rexall Edmonton GrandPrix Discussion
I had an awesome time once again, and especially liked the Motocross exhibtion and the skydivers/multiple flybys from the ?CF-18s?. Got a chance to talk with Justin Wilson for a bit on sunday when he was leaving the Rsports trailer for the starting grid and he was very personable and interesting to talk to.
Id agree with Diesel about not only the limitations of food choices but also of water. Sure, there were plenty of vendors selling water but I don't want to pay $3.00 for each bottle of water when I'm not drinking beer. Last year they had a number of water fountains where you could fill your empty containers which was definitely lacking this year.
Once again though, overall a very well executed event and I had a blast.

Re: Rexall Edmonton GrandPrix Discussion
Given what people have posted I am wondering if they will again next year? I was maybe hoping to go and make a weekend out of it. They seem to have an Esks game the same weekend."Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."

Re: Rexall Edmonton GrandPrix Discussion
Really the only thing I can complain about was the food. I agree they took a huge step back with that. I suspect Capital Ex and Taste of Edmonton is part of the problem. Other than that It was great.
What do you think about the 3 concerts starting so late? I found that a bit odd but it was nice for people that wanted to stick around later.
Didn't make it to the EE game till the 2nd qrt because we were watching the Miss Grand Prix finals. For anyone that has not seen that try and make it next year...Its a great time!
