    Petrino Resigns, Takes Arkansas job

    http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=090...o&confirm=true

I'm pretty surprised....Atlanta had a chance of recovering but I think they'll likely go into a few rebuilding years because of this.

Hmm... I dont know if they take a quarterback now in the draft. It seemed like Petrino and Brohm was a match made in heaven.

My favorite team in college though is Arkansas. Im a little concerned because I dont think we have an outstanding quarterback and receivers that can fit his system like he usually does. I think our best bet next year is keeping it on the ground with Felix Jones as long as he doesn't declare with Mcfadden.

I still think Atlanta will take a QB, probably even Brohm still....they have some up and coming players on that defense, as well as some young athletic receivers, they just need a solid QB that they can build that offense around.

Odd timing. Vick goes to the clink for longer than expected then the next day Bobby pulls.

Petrino just up and left. Never even told the players. Kinda crappy, IMO.

Is he finishing out the season? I didn't think so, but then I read an article that said he focused on the Rams next week instead of the distraction of him resigning.

BP : What you kidding me? My own agent is confusing me with Rick Pitino, my meal ticket's in the slammer and some of the geniuses on my team think a guy who pleaded guilty to a federal crime is being imprisoned unjustly. How the **** do you think I'm doing?!?!?!?!!!

This is just about the worst display from a "professional" I've ever seen.

Absolutely disgusting. Finish out the G.D. season and sign with them in the off season.
