Overview: About where the Bears should be. They're in great shape going into the playoffs...with the 4th best record in CanWest, assuming no upsets in the other divisions, they may get the wild card berth into the CW Final Four.

Overview: A disappointing finish - Pandas split with Manitoba in their last regular season series, but had to travel for the first round due to UBC choking away TWO matches to Trinity on the last weekend and TWU holding the head-to-head tiebreaker. No matter - Pandas swept tonight - should take the series, I'd hope.

Bah...haven't been able to keep up this weekend.

Quick summary...

Men's Hockey:
Bears split with UBC, 3-2 loss and 5-4 win. Host lowest remaining seed in CanWest Semi in two weeks. CW Q-Finals are #6 Regina @ #3 Calgary and #5 UBC @ #4 Manitoba next week.

Women's Hockey:
Pandas swept Regina 2-0 in their semi (4-0, 4-1). Host Manitoba next weekend in CanWest Final. Game times ought to be 7:00 Fri/Sat at the Drake.

Men's Basketball:
Bears beat Sask 2-1 in their division semi. Travel to Calgary next weekend for division final.

Women's Basketball:
Pandas host Sask next week in Central Division Final. Game times most likely 3:00 Fri/Sat, but don't quote me on that (as Bears v-ball hosts CW Final Four in evenings).

Men's Volleyball:
Bears host CW Final Four next weekend. Semis will be Bears vs. Thompson Rivers and Winnipeg vs. UBC. Games go at 6:00/8:00 Fri and Sat.

Women's Volleyball:
Pandas won their series 2-1 at Trinity Western (3-0, 1-3, 3-1). Travel to Manitoba for CW Final Four next weekend. Semis are Pandas vs. Manitoba and UBC vs. Calgary.
