    Canadian Bowl (CJFL championship) GDT

    The CJFL National championship kicks off at 1pm (PST) from Nanaimo, BC.

    It can be watched live via the VI Raiders website - originally slated to be pay per view, now they're saying it will be free!

    I've been asked to do Quarterly updates on the Edmonton Wildcats website so I may as well post some updates here as well.

    Go Wildcats Go!!
    (and hoping for #1 to have a good game. )

        Sadly, nothing on TV here on the island.. Tho the local Shaw channel is showing the CIS Hardy Cup.. a shame; with an island team on it, you'd think we could get SOME kind of coverage..?

          game is on at viraiders.ca ... they say they're having 'rain interference'! goes to show you that mother nature will always one up ma nature.

          0-0 in the 1st Q ... Raiders taking lots of penalties.

                    (tough listening to the announcers... while they're quite good, they're incredible homers)

                    Rain has started to fall... and it's already a defensive struggle spiced with dropped passes (VIR) and bad penalties (EW).

                          Wutherich was open... dropped a pass... then kicked at the defender. There have been some concerns about that kid's commitment to a team... any team. he's a 'me first' kind of guy'.
