        Yeah, it's been a while.

Staying there is going to be the key.

If they can sneak into a good playoff spot this year (aka not 4th, or not squeaking in)...heck, I might travel for them. Not like the Esks will be going in November.

When's the next game? Where does one get tix?
I will not, for a moment longer, support an organization who chooses to cowardly kneel where they once fiercely & proudly stood

Home opener is Saturday at 1:00pm vs Calgary. Other home games are Fri Sep 24 at 7pm (USask), Sat Oct 16 at 1pm (UBC), and Sat Oct 23 at 1pm (Manitoba).

An adult ticket at the door or over the phone is $14.

The best deal is to call UA Athletics at 780-492-BEAR (2327) and get a season ticket.
For adults it's $36 for the 4 games, and that gets you an extra free home opener ticket for Saturday, 10% off UA merch at the Sales Office (in UA Athletics complex, lower level), and playoff games at your ST holder rate.

For those of you that are UA students, a season ticket is a piddly $8, which gets you everything above as well. Students/seniors elsewhere get a season ticket for $22.

Oh, forgot to mention too...you get a $15 Hudsons gift certificate with every ST purchase. So effectively, you're out $21 for five tickets as an adult.

The Canada West has been wild with the results so far... with the Bears the only 2-0 team, no surprise they've entered the top 10
Look. We can go round and round about this all the live long day. Let's keep it simple. I embody amazement. Can you dig on that? Good. Then meet me on the corner of rock and roll, and bring a flask of something that burns.

Hey Giz does the U of A run a program that you can get a complete athletic season ticket that gets you into any and all regular season game regardless of sport? U of C offers one for $100. Pretty sweet deal if you intend on going to a few basketball games as well.

They used to, but I'm not sure if they do anymore. Golden Bear hockey is always good, too. Great place to take the kids to a game...even if you have to leave early with them, it's not like you are out a lot of dough.

They don't any more (closest thing is 10-game flex packs for any sport).

They had that for a season or two (at IIRC $150 or so) about 3 years ago but I guess it wasn't attracting anyone.

I would've loved that as a student (at a student price)...now, I don't get to near as many games as I used to.

Are the Bears games not on radio anymore?

They is a stream of audio and video (only one angle) though... http://ssncanada.ca/game/1476/

                      Game just started, no score

9-0 Bears after 1 quarter in their biggest test of the year against the #4 U of C... Dinos are driving now though

If the Bears pull it off, this should really launch them near the top of the CIS Top Ten
