Yup, Canada isn't really pressing all that hard. They are controling the puck but just aren't getting quality chances.
I don't like the format. Points from the first round should carry over. As well, I can't understand how the two first place teams from each division played so early. Usually by finishing first you get a break. By playing one another so soon one of the best teams was bound to drop in the standings.

Well I dont know about anyone else but I can certainly tell that the majority of this club havent played good hockey for a year. The hands arent there, the timing isnt there, the sense, etc etc. Luckily our top line had been playing hockey and its showed, they are dominating out there. On paper I would think this club would be a lock to win for the 3rd time...but after watching most of the games I think we will be lucky to walk away with the gold.Comment

If it's any consolation Simchuk did stand on his head and kept the Ukraine in it, I wonder why this goalie has never got a sniff at the NHL?As the evening sky faded from a salmon color to a sort of flint gray, I thought back to the salmon I caught that morning, and how gray he was, and how I named him Flint.Comment

So we got throughthis round relatively unscathed in the injury department, I think the team will gel a bit better now that the games are for the hardware.
