    $15? Wow, inflation.

I can remember going to games at Varsity, students always free and adults were $4... team was terrible, but living in Lister it was literally across the street. I guess prices went up when they moved to Foote Field. Times change, prices go up, the Bears remain awful
Look. We can go round and round about this all the live long day. Let's keep it simple. I embody amazement. Can you dig on that? Good. Then meet me on the corner of rock and roll, and bring a flask of something that burns.

Things have changed since they allowed the forward pass...

Season tickets bring the price down a bunch. Even still at $15 the whole season only costs you $60.

Lister liver 3.5 times as old as you...Henday dungeon perhaps?
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

By looking at the game summary it appears that the Bears absolutely gifted away the game. How the hell can you give up a 28 yard safety late in the game and then let the other team drive for a fg? Does anyone know what happened on the safety play? Please don't tell me it was intentional at all.

4 Kelsey actually... the Kelsey factor bumps that up to 4.3, and with the teens wing, just call it an even 5

Only saw it on the late news, seems a mystifying decision, especially in the CIS

Well according to the report it was a conceded safety from the 28 yard line. If that is the case chris Morris just destoryed any cred at all as a coach and proved he is worse than Kavis freakin Reed in game management.

Yeah, it was poor. Completely intentional. Then they let the UBC guy run over them completely to set up the FG and UBC made the FG with a half-second left.

Then in OT the QB made a throw to the corner (wasn't really that bad, just that the receiver didn't quite get there) and the other guy picked it off, then UBC drove a bit and set up for a chip-shot FG.

I'm not so mad at the end as I am for the team kinda letting their foot off the gas - they were up 29-2 and got outscored 37-7 the rest of the way. Granted, most of those guys have never had a lead to work with, but still.

At least they're scoring some points. The question isn't whether we'll be able to score one TD any more as it was the past two years.

Today's 5pm match-up at Foote Field between the Golden Bears and the U of Regina Rams brings up a bunch of questions for me:

                        1. Who's the genius who scheduled this a half hour after the start of an Eskimos home game?
                        2. What kind of a dopey school has a different name for all of its men's sports teams (Cougars) than for its football team (Rams)?
                        2. Who allowed the Rams/Cougars to come into the same league as the Golden Bears and snake our longstanding green & gold team colours?

Originally there was the UofR cougars for all sports teams without a football program, the regina rams were part of the PFC but they were so dominant that the UofR basically took them on as their football team and kept the Rams name, hence why they have 2 different team names.

I'm sure people know why they are called the Rams just not why the school is so stupid to have different names for their sports teams.

The Rams aren't really a school team per se, they're actually an organization onto themselves. It's kind of an odd arrangement, but the Rams are privately funded and have their own Board of Directors and other than the requirement that their players be students they really aren't tied to the university.
