Nt a lot of change, although possibly a karmic response to my teasing of Looner... he's now a point ahead of me! And just ahead of both of us, it's cmbuk again! Still real close... lots of room for lots of folks to knock us off the podium.

Agreed. One thing, though, that hasn't been mentioned lately... we traded MBT, straight up, for Fajardo. I think it's pretty clear by now who won that trade!...

In the limited time he was owner of the Elks, he made a huge positive impact. Thank you, Mr. Thompson

Another shakeup at the top! (I would get in a jab at Looner at this point, but maybe that would be overkill.)
Guess who's back on top? Cmbuk now leads the way, with me a point back, and Looner a point back of me. I'd say, though, that all...

We can differ, no worries! Lots of points of view on this.
I think our difference has to do with what's being rewarded. Your point is that the scoring play needs to be a "football play". For me the point reward is the result of...

I didn't say it was good footballLast week the Dallas Cowboys couldn't move the ball past midfield either, but hammered a 64 yard FG to tie the game on the last play. Seems fair to me that what they did deserved 3 points, but if they managed to get...

Unhappy about the rouge changes. The CFL provides lots of ways to score, which makes close games more interesting. Now they'll be less interesting. And I'm tired of hearing that the rouge on a missed FG rewards failure. It doesn't reward failure any...

Does anyone know where 1-point converts will be taken? If they stay the same, the movement of the goal posts to the back of the end zone would make them something like 47 yards, no?...

In the NFL, midfield is pretty much a target for an attempt these days. Crazy how kickers have such power.
Not sure what to think of these changes. The field will be 20 yards shorter, right? (2 x end zone shortening, 10 yards shortening...

I can't imagine that they would be in-game changes... coaches, officials, etc can't completely change their conditions of work overnight. Unless they take effect next season.
They had better not be an Americanization of our rules. That would...

You know, that was a really good game. Yeah, we lost at the buzzer. But the Cats played really well. The Elks played really well. We would have destroyed either the Stamps or the Bombers this week....

Why do a sequence of quick plays down to the 10 and then kick a FG at the end of the half, without attempting the end zone even once?

A tidbit during the Als-Toronto game right now... apparently, Dinwiddie apologized for his unfortunate behaviour after the Elks game.

Apologies for the late update this week... things got crazy! Not much has changed at the top. Looner (still looks weird to see him up there) is still #1 with a three point lead, with cmbuk and me trailing, and adb just one point back of us. Still...

I'm almost certain that he attempted to call a time out before Julien punted, to avoid the ten yard penalty. The refs missed it, and the end result was an Argos FG. He was upset at the refs....

Careful... you never know who on the board you might be giving these names....

Sooo frustrating. Dozens of chances to win.
Dinwiddie loses his mind at the end. I had thought he had some class. Not there.

Hasn't been great in the second half, for sure. First down production has been poor, to say the least.
But the INT's keep coming!
