  • Finally a 4 for 4 week for the first time this year with bonus points as well. 10 points in a week, I believe is the most I've ever had....

I saw the pointing, but didn't notice the shooting. I always though celebrations aimed at mocking the opponent or threatening gestures were penalties, but it appears not much of anything is considered a penalty if Montreal does it. I couldn't get over...

I'll give him credit as he's got the goods skill wise, just dont appreciate some of his antics. I used to same the same thing you say about BLM that he was moreso a by-product of the team around him, but his play in Hamilton once he got settled in has...

Yeah, I used to hate BLM because he came across arrogant, but it was moreso a composed arrogance in how he carried himself. Seeing Alexander dancing around the opponent sidelines after a big play in a game that was becoming a blowout isn't just arrogant...

The bolded may be a bit of an overreaction. Not top 4 means there's at least 2 teams better than them out of Calgary, Winnipeg, BC, Hamilton, Toronto or Ottawa. It may be the case, but I'm not sure that's a foregone conclusion coming out of a three...

He definitely underthrew a lot of balls that contributed to some of those dropped balls, the INT and limiting the gains on the completions, but he did enough to win or keep it close if the Defense could have made Montreal punt more than 1 time. ...

My counter argument to this is that the single largest single season drop in attendance for the Esks/Elks was the year they closed the upper bowl, which implies to me that the seats themselves are at least part of the appeal to attend a game when they...

Yeah, I don't mind PIs and the occasional rough play when it's borderline and not intentional, it's the special teams penalties that drive me the most crazy as they can cost massive yardage for marginal benefit if you get away with it and of course offides...

Those are exactly the people I'm talking about. Of course I'm back, I'm irrelevent to this conversation. Many of the people who aren't regulars care about having a good time moreso than about the team. Make sure they have a good time.

    Riverhawks...

I partially agree, but if we get a repeat of last Thursday's game and lost on a walkoff FG vs. last year's Grey Cup winner, that's still a pretty exciting night that fans can go home saying they enjoyed themselves despite the loss.

    It's...

Sometimes situations like these are the perfect storm as the opposition has no knowledge of tendancies as there is literally no game film on two of the key players on offense.

The reason I'm skeptical of the Lions is moreso Winnipeg's defense...

Tough decision. We've always felt we'd rather get the sun because we such short summers as it is, and outside the Rhodes/Persson/Cui era extreme weather was typically just once or twice a year during the actual game time. Strange how their era also had...

I'm starting to wonder if The Weather Network hates the Elks. Once again their forecast has suddenly changed for the 3 hours of the game to have a chance of thundershower, then magically no chance of thundershower 8-10, before the chance of Thundershower...

James Butler listed out for tomorrow's game vs. Winnipeg. With a rookie QB getting his first start and Winnipeg defense likely being pretty pissed off after giving up more than 50, this game might get pretty ugly for the rookie....

Yeah, but you never know. Calgary scares me a little bit with their crazy offense, but our defense has generally been good so it's 2 formidable forces going at it.

Their defense kind of sucks, but up until this last week I didn't have a...

And the good thing on this is they only have one more game on 5 days break and it's the LDR so both teams have it, and they only have one more with a 6 day break, so they have 7 or more days between 9 of 11 games from here on out.

    They also...

Yeah, a lot of people are trying to diminish the Elks record because they played 4 games vs. Ott and BC combined.

However, they are also 3-0 vs. teams that are over .500 where the rest of the league is just 3-14 against those same teams....
