Anyone have Vista yet?

I have it on my new laptop and although I don't really mind the set-up of the operating system itself, it seams to have a mind of it's own.

It'll back up to the last page without me touching a thing, it'll post a message before I am done, and it'll open new webpages on its own.

Anyone else experiencing these glitches? Best Buy people told me they had mocrosoft reps here and they were saying to the Best But staff that Vista still had loads of problems.

I still use Windows ME, no problems for me except I cannot watch the TSN videos on their website

When I asked one of the techs at Best buy the other day if I should buy if for my media center, he told me to wait until summer to buy it. Especially cause I use my computer mostly for music and videos. Vista doesn't work with Ipods, and it might not work with the printers and scanners, ect, that you have.

The biggest problem is that with Vista, MS re-did the audio stack. So many sound cards don't work right. Creative has come up with a set of drivers that allow some of their cards to work with Vista now, but Vista's sound stack is now software driven, not hardware driven.

I do find those commercials funny.
But I am a PC person. And what I find annoying about vista or any operating system that MS puts out, is that whether it is a true upgrade or not, it invariably involves having to upgrade your system in some way in order to run it. Is Vista really leaps and bounds better than XP? So much better that it justifies having to buy a new sound card, or eventually having no choice but to upgrade to Vista because all the new programs will be only Vista compatible? Not being compatible with IPods is ridiculous as well.
