As usual the myth that CEO's and such are worth the unreal amounts of money they are paid. Nice to be on the gravy train if you can get some......oink oink! And heck if you are fired you just pocket the money and move onto the next opportunity that some moronic company board offers you.

Neither is desireable, however people would have you beleive that all things government are inefficent, all goverment leaders are dopes or corrupt and that all private business is efficient and run according to the laws of capitalism. Far from it.

There are some though, high level government officials are in a situation where it's very easy to further themselves via illegal means.....and in order to get to those high-level positions, you have to lie to the people, otherwise you'd never get anywhere, because the reality of it is that it takes money to run a government and the land that it presides over. People want lower taxes, but more funding for certain organizations....and you can't have both. It one of those 'Don't hate the player, hate the game' situations.

Ones that get paid big money and then play like pure crap? Yup you bet i am. Ones that play unbelieveably well and their teams win championships no.

That article pointed out the guys that are getting paid outrageous amounts for total non performance while poor Martha and Henry watch their stocks drop by 20% in a week.

You fit right in with the american republicans with that comment. Rather than look at things and admit that there are some real problems in a system it's a huge blanket statement.

As for banning free thought both the american government and the canadian government are working on that one.

Mate, I was just being cheeky, based on the "blanket" title of this thread.

What problem is there in the system? Some people are making tons of money and you're not? I don't see that as a problem. That's an opportunity.

Then, when I'm making tons of money, I help people via charity, political pressure, etc...just like many of those CEO's are also doing.
