    Eskfans... brainstorm?

Hoping for some help here, as I'm throwing idea's out lately and get nothing beyond futureshop/best buy, and finding a job right now ain't fun.

    #1) I got a job June 1, landscaping gig.
#2) I promptly tore my shoulder up on June 2.
#3) Until surgery + rehab, I'm not allowed to lift my left arm up above my head, or over extend it.
#4) I have significant sales experience, and would love a commission sales job.... but it has to be PT as...
#5) I'm back at school in September, at which point I can only work weekends.

.... thoughts? Anyone? It's a bitch, as VERY few places are hiring part time right now, and I'm finally at a point where I can at least walk around without a sling on and do basic movements...

Edit: Surgeon also HEAVILY warned against repetitive movements. At this point I've had 4 partial dislocations along with 2 full dislocations in less than 16 months; he figures it's very likely I'll dislocate, fully, again just doing day-to-day stuff; I'd rather this not happen at work...

Afraid you're kind of hooped at this point in the summer... apparently you can still type, you might be able to find a short term data entry job that paid decent.

Other then that, I really don't know what you could reasonably find beyond Future Shop/Best Buy type jobs considering your physical limitations
Look. We can go round and round about this all the live long day. Let's keep it simple. I embody amazement. Can you dig on that? Good. Then meet me on the corner of rock and roll, and bring a flask of something that burns.

Before you insult a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you insult him, you'll be a mile away, and have his shoes.

IM... that's my thoughts, hoping someone has an idea though. I'm going to give Laptop Depot a shot, as they asked me for a 2nd interview before I got hired at the landscaping gig....

Opus.... I wanna hurt you right now, except if I threw a punch, unless I knocked you out.... 50/50, given you're right in my wheel house , I'd hurt myself more than I hurt you...

            That's it.

I'm getting your description and beating you senseless Opus. My left arm will come out after one swing and I'm gonna beat you down with it using my right arm!

            It's on!

And for the record, going from being able to press a pair of 75's dumbbells to not being allowed to do a push-up... ain't fun. So uh; get born with good shoulders kids

Maybe you should try out for the Olympic bobsled team.
Out of my mind; back in five minutes.

Right along the lines of what I was thinking.
I officially retract my vote for DDS as Prime Minister. He's clearly incompetent.

                            One handed?

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
