I filled out my long form census. And while I'm happy it's back, as getting rid of it was so stupid, I fount that it took the form of a very poorly designed online survey. Very amateurish.

Filled it out last week. Took just over an hour, relatively painless. Not sure what was the big deal about getting rid of it.

Was amused at the question at the end about releasing our personal information (not our names, just the data) for historical research in the year 2108. Don't they know I plan to be around still by then?

It's quite possible as only the good die young...you should be around forever.

They only ask us old people to fill out the short form in case we don't live through the long form census. I claimed all of you, except for certain individuals, as mentally challenged dependants.
