I don't like birds. In 1989 I hit a vulture in Afghanistan. You should have seen the damage it did to the leading edge of our wing (Hercules). I have pictures somewhere.

The Israeli chief of staff was flying in this helicopter when it met a bird coming the other way. The helicopter (Blackhawk) won the argument, and made a precautionary landing. No one was hurt, except the bird.
