    Granted they ain't no White Stripes, but they're still a helluva lot better to listen to than a lot of the pap that's out there. Gimme Can't Stop or By the Way or Cabron or On Mercury any day over anything by "Il Dildo" or "Andreas Bocconcini" or even 'The Killers' or U2's 'how to dissmantle interesting and edgy music'.
    Turf Toe:

        "F*ck em, just to see the look on their face" has to be one of the best lines in the history of music.

        I also loved Uplift Mofo Party Plan. Fight Like A Brave was one of the funniest videos I think I've seen. It's truly a wonder that only one of the band members died.
        It's gonna be legen... wait for it, and I hope you're not lactose intolerant because the second half of the word is ...dary....

          Yeah, those two albums were amazing.. I dig the Maceo Parker/Fred Wesley tandem on horns for the Freaky Styley album.. Hollywood (Africa) and Jungle Man were amazing on FS.. Me & My Friends and their version of Subterranean Homesick Blues were standouts fer me on Uplift..

            Totally true, I also loved Funky Crime. It's too bad that I won't be able to hear those songs if I go to see them now.

            The Peppers always did great cover songs too back in the day. Subterranean, Fire, Higher Ground and Love Rollercoaster were all great tunes.
