    Queensryche Arrest Update

    As previously reported, www.queensryche.com posted the following information on Sunday:

    "Queensr˙che was arrested today at the Amsterdam airport today for smuggling illegal firearms! Details are a bit sketchy at the moment, but word just came in moments ago from Geoff Tate. More info as it becomes available... stay tuned!"

    Today, Tate's wife Susan has issued the following explanation:

    "Geoff uses a fake gun as a prop in part of the Mindcrime set and it was in his bag going through the airport. This got somone arrested... I am still unclear on all the details."




    DOH!
    I will not, for a moment longer, support an organization who chooses to cowardly kneel where they once fiercely & proudly stood

      Ya know, whenever I'm in a foreign country with my fake gun, I always make sure I pack it with my check-in's not my carry on...
      Hope, at the end of the day connects us all, no matter how different we are

        If it's a stage prop - couldn't they have some sort of police documentation when they enter the country, so as to not cause problems when they're trying to fly out?
        There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

            Idiots. When I was flying out of New York last year some idiot was joking around about a bomb. Did God make these people just for our entertainment??
            You'll always miss 100% of the shots you don't take, and, statistically speaking, 99% of the shots you do.

                    That's exactly what I thought!

                    I saw the title of the thread and the first thing through my mind was 'What on Earth could they do that would get them arrested in the Netherlands?!?'
