Who to Cheer For

Now that the Esks are done who do you guys want to win the Grey Cup?

I'm going to root for th Lions. They have been the most entertaining team to watch and with the depth they have in all positions I can't see them not making it to the finals. But as long as the Stamps don't win I'll be happy.

I want an Esks-TigerCats final, but since I can't have that I'll settle for Toronto against anyone but Calgary.

In the West, defo the Lions. There's been just too much bad blood directed at us from the other Western teams. Besides, they're my home team now. But I can't feel much but indifference towards them.

In the East, it would be Hamilton, but they're not an option. I'll root for the Als. They're the closest organization to the Esks in terms of stability and professionalism. That deserves to be rewarded a bit more than the Als have gotten, in terms of GC's.

isn't funny that for all the Maas vs Ray krap this site has gone through the past couple seasons, there the two QB's watching the playoffs from the comfort of their own home?

That said, I hope the Bombers make it to the GC since it is in Winnipeg...but I figure they'll lose to whoever comes out of the west, and I don't think it will be BC...

I hate the f'n stamps but I think their winning it all this season.

Honestly, I guess I'd probably be pulling for the Bombers over anybody else right now, but out of the West, as much as this hurts to say, I'd rather see the Lions win than the Stamps or Riders.

But at the end of the day it's anybody but the Stamps.

After seeing the Lions completely humiliate the Stamps here last week, I'm a little more hopeful. I don't see them coming back to BC Place with any success.

2. So they can win and get back to sucking again.


A little trickier in the east. Usually I don't care as I am just looking for someone new for the Esks to throttle in the Grey Cup......now I just don't care one way or the other between TO, MON, or WIN....

If I were all of you, I'd cheer for the Riders. Mostly because I've suffered so much over the years and I'm not working right now so I can't give the gears to the Esks fans who have given me the gears so often for so long.

Aside from my selfishness Earl had the right answer.
