Re: Cats release Cheatwood
If the Esks were severely shallow at his position, I'd say perhaps; I've always liked Cheatwood's play, but with his injury and with our depth, I'd say no. Then again, with the way things are shaping up at RB for camp, I wouldn't be surprised.Originally posted by #83do we dare?

Re: Cats release Cheatwood
Takes bad penalties, at times has been indicated that he favours the pass rush too much over run responsibilites but the guy is a great pass rusher and works hard. I doubt if the Esks would pursue him but who knows. He'll find a home somewhere unless his salary demands are too high.

Re: Cats release Cheatwood
You cant bring in guy like cheatwood whose played DE his whole career and ask him to play DT his pass rushing will be hampered by playing in line not to mention that he would have to be stout against the run at all times.Originally posted by acuraBraidwood....Cheatwood.....Brown.....Guillory
Sounds like a good line to meThe only place success comes before work is in the dictionary.

Geez, the knee injury must be pretty bad. This guy is/was a damn fine lineman.
