...to the Cowboys, mentioned it in the NFL Free Agency thread. They called him a standout which I really didn't get. They must've been impressed by all of his 1500 yards he got in 4 years.

This is that former Rider? Well maybe he will do good down there. Look at that guy in Winnipeg. His name escapes me at the moment.

If the Riders had let him out of his contract prior to last season, there was some speculation that he'd be drafted as a low-round pick...Still no guarantee that he'd make it...He'll need to avoid the injuries that plagued him up here or his stay will be real short...Of course, it could likely be short regardless...

I hope he lights it up....but I doubt he'll even be top 5 on the depth chart.

He's not an elite receiver in our league yet thinks he can play in the NFL? Uh... sure thing pal have fun on the practice roster- if you don't get cut, that is.

That doesn't mean a thing. Put it this way, he definitely wouldn't be the first guy who is not an "elite" player in the CFL yet makes it in the NFL.

Brendon Ayanbadejo and Rod,"He Hate Me", Smart are the first two who come to mind, but there have been several others over the years.

Jamal wasn't really a Rider, he was a FA and wasn't offered a contract by the team.

Richardson has the kind of stature the NFL loves... fairly tall and muscular, and if you fit the NFL mold they almost always give you a look.... trouble is he still couldn’t catch an STD in Tijuana.
