Hm. You'd think it's an SMS move, but the "onfield incident" sounds a bit troubling.

We might have some interest, depending on our new LB's, but we might have our own SMS issues and I don't like the Esks bringing in players with personality problems (if that's what this is about).

EDIT: “It’s never easy to release someone who contributed to a championship season, so I’m very disappointed to have to make this announcement about JoJuan today,” said head coach/general manager John Hufnagel. “We have a very clear policy on team discipline, whether it’s on the practice field, during games or off the field.

“JoJuan chose not to follow that policy recently during practice and, as a result, I’ve made this decision. He played an important role on our football team last year but we’re going in a different direction for 2009.”

That's a big loss for the Stamps, regardless of SMS or an "onfield incident."
"This year, we did what we were supposed to do. We fought as a team. We fought as a team. And the fact is, we gotta go back and go to work, to make sure we finish this next time. That's all we gotta do. This right here makes us stronger. Let's understand who we are as a team. Let's understand this right here makes us stronger." - Ray Lewis, January, 2012.

This is what happened to Armour. Special note to PDO: Note the spelling of rouge. He'll be picked up by someone. Armour, not PDO, who no one wants.

I don't think Armour was best suited to play in the middle but that leaves a huge hole in the D none the less. I assume Blackmon will have to step into that spot. I wonder if the diagnosis of Armour's heart murmur also played a role in the decision. The Stamps D could be in some trouble if that Dline can't step up like they did late last year...

With him and Hill being recent cuts, not to mention Johnson returning from his NFL stint, there are certainly some new free agent linebacking options available out there should a team decide to pursue beefing up their roster in that area.

You know it's bad when even the classless stamps release someone for onfield behaviour (**cough, cough boorish GC celebrations last year cough, cough **)

I hate the Stamps more than poison, of course, but I really respect Hufnagel. I'm a huge fan of this kind of accountibility.

Threw Copeland to the ground during practice.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

before he went to the stamps I really liked him.. then as a Stamps their ******* behavior rubbed off on him and I no longer want him to be a part of the Esks..

                    but...

After reading that.. I'd welcome him with open arms ( not in a gay way ) but there could be our answer to the revenge on Nicole

Why couldn't it have been a flying headbutt to Lewis or piledriver to Burris? Oh well...

I guess Micheal Vick, Pacman Jones and Plexico burress won't be welcome in Calgary.

I'm all for accountability, but cut the guy some slack... who doesn't want to slap Jeremaine Copeland around?!?!

Look. We can go round and round about this all the live long day. Let's keep it simple. I embody amazement. Can you dig on that? Good. Then meet me on the corner of rock and roll, and bring a flask of something that burns.

IIRC, he was suspended for a game for disciplinary reasons late last season just prior to the playoffs.....good to see John Huf taking a stand on these types of issues. It sends a message to the rest of the team.
