The Trade will not be finalized until just before the draft begins tommorrow, but it's #1 and #8 to SSK for #2, #4 and a vet Canadian.
They also report that Shomari Williams @blac33 will be the man the Riders seek at #1 when the draft begins tommorrow.
"This year, we did what we were supposed to do. We fought as a team. We fought as a team. And the fact is, we gotta go back and go to work, to make sure we finish this next time. That's all we gotta do. This right here makes us stronger. Let's understand who we are as a team. Let's understand this right here makes us stronger." - Ray Lewis, January, 2012.
Seems a bit odd that the Riders would give up both the #2 and #4 picks to get the #1. They must really want Williams in particular, but given that the Canadian draft is more of a cr*p shoot than some other drafts, I'm surprised by this.
Also curious to know who's going to TO. Wonder if it's a salary dump.

Or someone they were likely going to cut anyway. Does seem odd I agree... but I guess if they're really sold on that one guy, it's not like it cost them anything tangible. Might as well get the guy you want rather than two you could live without.
Look. We can go round and round about this all the live long day. Let's keep it simple. I embody amazement. Can you dig on that? Good. Then meet me on the corner of rock and roll, and bring a flask of something that burns.
Since contracts aren’t guaranteed salary dumps only really happen when a team wants to keep a player out of its division. Hamilton dumped Flick and Smith on the Riders instead of cutting them so they could keep another eastern team from signing them. If we’re dumping a player in this deal it may be Wayne Smith again. He was massively overpaid when the Riders traded for him at $190,000, the highest paid OL in the league, and although he’s signed a new contract since then it was a Tillman deal, so it’s likely still very bad.
As a side note, if we do draft Williams that would be extremely good news for the Rider organization. It may mean that the dark days in Riderville are indeed over. Maybe I’ll explain that more later, but not now.
