Surprise surprise, Stamps players bitching about officiating

It's amazing that the Stamps sing the same tune every time they get bounced from the playoffs. According to them, they are ALWAYS the better team. Check out the post game comments on TSN, it's high comedy.

What is it about the horse head on the helmet that turns these guys into *******s? Why can they never be gracious in defeat?

Hank Burris once again chokes when it counts. I can't understand why the Stamps didn't run more. Reynolds had 10 CARRIES. It's not like the Stamps were getting whipped and they had to pass.
Blindly accept whatever they do and if it doesn't work out, I guess there's always next year.

THe only one I agree with was for the taunting on Bryant. That was a bizzare one.

        No surprise...not at all...
Almost like every time Burris was touched he was complaining to the refs. I think there was a couple times the Riders were lucky with the calls...like when Lewis was looking for a facemask call...it was pretty close. All I can say is they're donkey punches...every last one of em and I'm glad they're not going to be using one of our locker rooms this Sunday!

On a completely unrelated note however, Weston Dressler ran into a reporter outside the visitors dressing room last night.

In keeping with the CFL mandate, the reporter was flagged for illegal contact on an eligible receiver.

            How true.

That taunting call on Bryant was a "real sweetheart" of a call too. For once I agree with Suitor when he said never give the officiating clowns a chance to make a judgment (discretion) call of any kind, or you could be sorry. For even giving the officials the opportunity to throw the flag, it was a stupid move by Bryant.

Maciocia, Hall, Strasser, Hairston and Thorpe are finally all gone. The rest will take care of itself.

Good luck Kavis Reed and the rest of the Esks' new coaching staff!

The taunting call was totally justified and a completely moronic move by Bryant in the 4th quarter of a 4 point Western final. That's a penalty you just don't take. Again, why would we expect any less from the classless Stamps?

Yes, that taunting penalty against Bryant sure killed that drive. They were starting to move the ball pretty well.

The real story of the game was that a banged up Saskatchewan defence played a very tough and very physical 60 minutes.

To come into the enemy park (I guess you wouldn't know it looking at the stands) and win in -20 weather says to me that you have earned it.

Burris shouldn't be crying the blues. In your home park you should be able to put up more than 16 points.

The taughting one was iffy. The only thing about it was that Bryant was looking for the Riders DB after the pass to pose for him (score a TD first you moron, you do not celebrate a first down catch). All of the illegal contact penalties were deserved. Browner was not standing his ground, he tackled the guy beyond on the 5 yards. That is text book to me.

Interesting that it was the Riders who moaned and bitched for a salary cap, and since a cap was put in place for them, they only years they've won they broke the salary cap rules.

It's always the same clowns on the Stumps team that whine, whine, whine, after a choke-job like yesterday.

I thought Burris was pretty good in the clip from TSN. Didn't blame anyone.

Anderson sounded like an uneducated fool.
