Two Als players accuse CFL of Favorouritism

    http://www.edmontonsun.com/sports/fo.../16321736.html

Ok guys grow up.......There is only on home field dressing room which is always nicer than the visitors rooms. They claim say they can't use any of the facilities........I believe that is a total fabrication. There was an article a few days ago where Dwayne Mandrusiak said that both teams have access to all facilities and training rooms etc so that both have the same and equal opportunity for the use of the facilities.
How do the Als know the Riders are in nicer rooms?
Have they been up to the riders rooms to see where they are staying.
These two players are both French Canadian.........I can see where this is heading.

Gamesmanship, pure and simple. Nothing to see here.

Personally, I believe that unless the game is played in one teams home stadium, that the defending Champs (or the team representing the division of the defending champs) should have the home locker room.

flatly I believe it's a tactic to help take the focus off the pressure of the game.

Like Jimmy Johnson said of big games, if I asked you to walk across a 2x4 laid on the ground, you'd do it no problem, if I asked to walk across a 2x4 laid across the top of two tall ladders, suddenly it's a problem.

Or just the best record is the home team, regardless of location of the game. It's supposed to be a neutral site.

            That would play well also.

If they alternated every year between the East and West then host division should get the home dressing room and be the "home" team. Given that they are not (west 3 years in a row) they shold alternate between the division. The Riders where home last year (they wore green any way), so therefore the Als should be home this year. The only time for me it shoudl change is if the home team was in the game, and that should just be for facilities (does not make sense to have BC switch rooms next year if they are in the game).

Maybe flip a coin for the home dressing room...
I was under the impression that the divisional representative got the home dressing room and wore home team colors...but I could be really drunk already on that one. It is 9:30 after all...

Funny how they didn't mention anything about the Als CHOOSING to practise at the Butterdome, inside rather than outside earlier this week...the field was available to them just like it was for Saskatchewan, but they didn't want to use it...

They should have made both teams use the dressing rooms at Clarke Park.
Maciocia, Hall, Strasser, Hairston and Thorpe are finally all gone. The rest will take care of itself.

Good luck Kavis Reed and the rest of the Esks' new coaching staff!

                      How is home team decided?

But hey the CFL has decided this is the Riders year so whats one more conspiracy? Give them our new dressing room.

Home team is alternated between east and west every year. This year it is the west who are "home" team.

I'm pretty sure the Riders were in the Stamps dressing room last year......they were certainly wearing their home uni's.

Jake had to screw with someone at the GC...and since the Esks weren't there...
