In what role?Originally posted by boydo View PostSoooo...does that mean the other part of the rumor is true and Tillman (hocktooey!) will be showing up in Hamilton as well? When you don't know that you don't know, it's a lot different than when you do know that you don't know.

Too much responsibility. He would want to trade his really good sturdy toilet brush for 1 brush with only one bristle, a brush that wasn't even built yet and might never get there.Originally posted by Deathsdoorstep View PostThe guy that cleans the toilets. When you don't know that you don't know, it's a lot different than when you do know that you don't know.

Re: Austin to be Ticats next HC/GM
The question I have is whether the Esks pursued Austin in their search because he would have looked real good on the EE sidelines.
I thought at one time that AUsin said he was not interested in returning to Canada and would play out the string in the U.S. college circuit.

Money must have talked pretty loudly in this case(Bob Young is a billionaire, no?).Originally posted by moontoscott View PostThe question I have is whether the Esks pursued Austin in their search because he would have looked real good on the EE sidelines.

Nah I don't think it does either...I was just saying how it compares to what the players are making compared to the GM, Head Coach etc. I mean, Cortez was making $400k/year...or top tier QB money...$2mil is like old Flutie money isn't it?

I think he didn't want to come to the CFL just as a HC, but had interest if it was a GM/HC like he's going to do in Hammy
No chance 2M a season, I think you misread. I read 2M total deal. Assume it would be a four year deal. Which would still work out to more than he makes at Cornell.
