So living in Regina I hear about the Riders alot. Well for the last 2 weeks all I have heard about it is the upcoming ceremonies to reflect on the 40th anniversary of the first Grey Cup. Sure George Reed and Ron Lancaster were great and all and the Riders had great teams in the 60's but whoopeee!!!! There is nothing worth celebrating here in gopherland.
It's almost been 40 years since they won even their last Grey Cup.
Yes, I know all teams do this to celebrate when they won their first cup but it's weird around here. The Eskimos have won 2 Grey Cups in 3 years and the Riders have won 2 in 40 and they are whooping it up here.
I'm not usually one for starting threads like this but I just needed to rant a little. I'm sure Griswold will enjoy this thread.
