Fajardo can’t recognize when blitzes are coming and just eats sacks instead of getting the ball to a hot receiver?

      not exactly surprised.

Boyko is terrible. An interior DL beats him on a speed rush untouched?

Getting really damn sick of watching Fajardo eat turf. Has zero awareness to scramble out of the pocket. Oh well, I’ll just go down and lose us another 10!!

Tyrell Ford missed tackle kept the 108 yard drive going, which they scored a TD on.

O has to get moving. The D has been on the field the entire game.

This offense is gross. Putting their D is absolutely terrible spots.

I agree he has become boring and predictable , need a running game to open it up

I really question Fajardo’s decision making. On that handoff to Rankin, it was a ride and decide read option type play. He should’ve pulled it and went to his receiver in the flat. Completely insane.

I don’t think Rankin is gonna be in the CFL very long unfortunately. Until then, I’m gonna enjoy the hell out of watching him.

The veteran in Cody helped us out big time in 4th , he wasn’t great for the first 3 , but his veteran leadership helped out here

I was expecting more comments here, I guess winning quiets dissent.

This game was close because we continue to fall into the same model of win or lose with one guy. The offense was absolutely brutal for most of this game. Once again, it would have made a ton of sense to give the offense a different look by putting Tre in for a series. Nope, just keep bashing that square peg into that round hole.

Defense played almost lights out all night but Jackson nearly wore some serious goat horns letting his guy behind him with under 20 seconds left. For a guy who has played so well for us, that was almost a horrific mistake.

As mentioned, once again we saw more about Fajardo's game that flat out shows he is not a long term solution, and needs to work in Tandem with Ford. His strength is his experience, and accuracy within 15 yards down field. If not for receivers being wide open, his 3 deep balls he completed today were flat out under thrown. Receivers had to make adjustments back into coverage to make the reception. The real new wrinkle is that he isnt very good with his decision making on RPOs. Easily 4 or 5 times against a loaded box, he let Rankin eat a s**t sandwich instead of pulling the ball and hitting someone on a hot route. He also still takes double digit yard sacks instead of throwing the ball away...but hey at least that completion percentage looks great. Never mind almost getting our best player killed on a high pass out to the flat in the 1st half.

Thank God for the new bodies on the defensive line. They are getting it done, and against arguably the best OLine in the league this year.

My last bit is in regards to one of the rule changes....specifically the 35 second automatic clock. Sadly, this looks like a necessity due to some of the officiating in the late stages of the game. The reason the Riders had time to drive the ball late was clock manipulation by the officials down the stretch in favour of the Riders. While it happened multiple times in this final minutes, there was none more egregious than with 2:36 left. The Riders completion was tackled just shy of the marker. The clock stops to measure and set the ball. This wasn't the issue...the problem is that the ball is set, and the yard markers in place, the official lets at least 10 seconds pass, and waits until the Riders get to the line to whistle play in. I have never seen it as obvious and deliberate to allow them every opportunity to use every tick of the clock. If you have the game recorded, re-watch the final 3 minutes. This is the gross manipulation that makes the 35 second clock a necessity. This game also showed why the other rule changes are complete garbage.
Before you insult a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you insult him, you'll be a mile away, and have his shoes.
