Hollis was a cap move originally, I would think. Dalton's injury might need more time to heal so at least we have a guy who's been here for a little while and understands the system, and he can move between MLB and DE

DM doesn't seem to have a solid well thought out plan or strategy for player aquisition, and roster maniupulation.

        How is that?

This is rediculous though Diesel. Ditching depth guys who are making probably the league minimum. How much does that save us cap wise in the grand scheme of things? I can understand the Esks wanting to adhere to the SMS but with all the injuries you don't dump guys in areas where you have poor depth to begin with. Not looking after your depth in this league is a recipe for disaster.

I'd be willing to bet if it wasn't for the rash of injuries we wouldn't be seeing Hollis Back

Now if we had a football minded person at the very top this woudn't be happening

Hollis was moved off the roster prior to us being hit with all these injuries. We had signed Cook IIRC shortly thereafter. It could also have been a calculated safe bet that he wouldn't be picked up by another team

Well get him in the lineup, we are hurting big time right now. Besides, even when Dalton was playing, he wasn't doing a whole lot to impress.
Blindly accept whatever they do and if it doesn't work out, I guess there's always next year.

I wonder if Hollis ever left town in the 1st place?
