    Coaching Mistakes!

Regardless of the outcome of todays game, there continues to be glaring coaching errors. The faked field goal attempt was very ill timed, when you have a chance to go ahead by more than 2 TD's you take it. The most glaring error however was not asking for a revue of the on-side kick attempt. That 15 yards would have put the Esks into fieldgoal range and was and obvious challenge.

    What is Danny thinking!

I don't believe you can challenge a penalty, can you?

(Sorry, I was flying back into Edmonton and didn't SEE the play - but I don't think Shabazz touched the ball, did he? In that case you would be attempting to protest the penalty, which I didn't think you could do).

Shabazz did touch the ball and the review would be to see if he was onside, which he was by 3 yards.

Uh, come to think of it...didn't the "onside kick" come within the last three minute of the 1st half? In that case, Danny can't challenge -- has to come from upstairs, I think.

Could be. Another mistake by the zebra's to screw the Esks.

                  At least they learned...

Throwing the ball to Mann with the game on the line was one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen. Thankfully they learned their lesson the second time around and got it to Tucker... but wow.

That's all we gotta do. This right here makes us stronger. Let's understand who we are as a team. Let's understand this right here makes us stronger." - Ray Lewis, January, 2012.

                    Re: Coaching Mistakes!

When my Dad calls the play the Eskimos are going to run on 3rd and 1, you know the coaching on this team is pitiful. He turned to me and said, and I quote..."They're going to run the ball here and be stopped"...and sure as crap, we run and get stopped. MY DAD CALLED IT...so if he knows what they are going to do, the Riders and all of Canada knows what they are going to do...WHY NOT FAKE IT? WHY NOT BOOTLEG AND TRY SOMETHING???? WHERE THE HELL HAS THE IMAGINATION BEEN ALL YEAR??

I threw a chair and tried to break it in my basement...THAT'S how frustrating watching this lackluster, pitiful team play football is. The players can take a lot of blame for this one too. No home team should be giving up a 14 point lead LATE in the 4th quarter to a team playing second-stringers all night long.

Sorry...I'm just venting because this is so embarassing for me and I'm sure a lot of Eskimos fans tonight and all season.

If Danny doesn't go or Lelachuer doesn't go...man, this season may look good compared to next season...We can not have this next year because they will lose fans and if the BOG doesn't realize that, well then they are stupid too. We keep them up finacially. I have feeling just getting rid of Macocia will do a lot of good for fans who have been pissed off at him. I know of a few who will come back to watch Esks football if Macocia goes.

Ok...I know I'm all over the place and I apologize. But man...this has been kept in all season long and this game just epitomized what this season has been.

anyone else think we should punted with that last play of the regulation. Fleming has been good on punts and I think it's worth a shot to try and get it to go out right beyond the goalline.

With our ST's it gets run back for a TD...

We should have punted on the SECOND last play of regulation.
I officially retract my vote for DDS as Prime Minister. He's clearly incompetent.

Our cover teams were good that game....and that's also why you angle it to the sidelines.
