    Disgusting

    I drove past Commonwealth today and in between the Esks office and the Stadium, there is a huge Saskatchewan Roughriders billboard.
    It has a loser-looking fan, painted in green and white and it says something like "Watch and Learn" (I can't remember exactly what it says now). Then it says August 21.

    Gross. My sister wanted to go vandalise it.

    That's not the first time there's been a Rider billboard in that area. Remember the "We Walk Among You" fiasco? (more like waddle, actually)

    Can't blame the Riders for pulling this. But you'd think the town planners in charge of billboards would have learned by now.

      Don't see anything wrong with that myself. It's like something I would try and pull off. Anything that draws more fans is OK by me(mostly).

            Vandalizing it makes you worse than they are. Beat them on the field.

                Don't think the planners have anything to do with it... if the Riders are willing to pay for it, more power to them I guess. I'm sure Pattison or CBS is happy to have the business.

                If the team or we fans don't like it, we'd have to buck up and pay for it... I'm not that troubled by it.

                  Spec, Spec, Spec. It's called marketing and that is one fine campaign.

                  He who has the higher number on the scoreboard has the last laugh. That's how we get even. Don't let it bother you. The last one was right at CW - the "We walk among you" one. That was pure genius.

                    No, it's luck - you had it right the first time.

                    As for the billboard, it's not in a well travelled part of town except for Thursday's game. Otherwise, the only people that are going to see it are the "johns" headed to 118 Ave.

                            True but I think it will be vandalized regardless. I can almost guarantee if there was a Stamps or Esks billboard around Mosaic it would be trashed immediately.
