    1972 - Hamilton
    1977 - Montreal
    1994 - BC

That puts pressure on Montreal to win the Eastern Final, so they can be beat....
Has anyone won the grey cup that has used the cross over before?

No, as a matter of fact I don't think a crossover team has ever won a playoff game. (could be wrong about that though)

            Re: Playoffs

I think there have been about three crossover teams (Sask and BC were the teams involved), and they all lost. But I don't know if any of them actually had better records than the teams they played in the ESF. So, I'm not all that concerned about the previous crossover teams' performances.

I'm still slightly optimistic. Winnipeg is very beatable. And if we win that, who knows? Weird things can happen in a single game. We went into the '05 playoffs with DM as coach and on a downer, and look what happened.
Out of my mind; back in five minutes.

Very true, but we can only tempt fate for so long with DM as the coach....

I don't know. The Bombers are hot right now and seem to be peaking at the right time.

We need to get our crap together.

                    Re: Playoffs

I heard someone saying this morning that DM's a genius for lulling the Bombers into a false sense of security...that since we were in the playoffs anyways...we'd try a new tactic. Needless to say the guy is about as sharp as a sack of wet mice, but knowing DM...that's almost a dumb enough idea that he would come up with.
