Esks better keep an eye on Kit

    http://www.edmontonjournal.com/sport...227/story.html

Looks like he is pretty fired up for this game. I guess I don't blame him but IMO, they brought him in to make plays, he didn't make enough plays. Kit being a CFL vet, he was probably making a higher salary than someone just coming up from the States. But the fact is he didn't make much of an impact on a defence that needed and still needs impact players.

On a side note, its been about a month and anyone else notice that Buhl hasn't been picked up by anyone, not even the extremely brutal Bombers. Kind of says something to me.
Blindly accept whatever they do and if it doesn't work out, I guess there's always next year.

As bad as the Bombers are they don't need help in the secondary, especially the kind of help Buhl offers.

I didn't see Kit as a weakness. Not dominating on D, but not really hurting us either.

      Valuable asset on special teams.

I agree but if you can put someone that is cheaper that does a similar job in his place, why wouldn't you? I'm sure the Riders had him signed to a pretty decent sized salary considering he was one of their "boys".

Davis. You can't tell me he is making more than Kit. Plus Davis is a true linebacker. Kit was a tweener.

Thanks. I thought maybe we brought someone new in that I missed. And no, I never suggested Davis was making more than Kit.

Was Jones even starting on a regular basis?

I could be wrong but as fas as I know he started on special teams and was a situational player on defence. But like I said, I could be wrong.

                      That was exactly his role.
I will not, for a moment longer, support an organization who chooses to cowardly kneel where they once fiercely & proudly stood

This is also likely to be his role with the Riders, perhaps rotating in a bit on the line, but hopefully mostly on the teams. Lord knows the Riders need help on ST's especially against a team like the Esks who are very good on the teams.

Kit also talked about how he hated Burris and the stamps last week before labour day and was hardly noticeable on the field.
