McCarty expected to play Friday, Davis back at practice...
Hopefully he's 100% this time. I'd love to add some more thunder to our lightning...
"This year, we did what we were supposed to do. We fought as a team. We fought as a team. And the fact is, we gotta go back and go to work, to make sure we finish this next time. That's all we gotta do. This right here makes us stronger. Let's understand who we are as a team. Let's understand this right here makes us stronger." - Ray Lewis, January, 2012.

Meh, any running back can look good in a single game. Harris ran for 189 yards against the Riders for us once. I'm happy with Whitlock.
Having McCarty back might just function as the trigger to a turnaround in team attitude and success. That's all we really need is that trigger on offense. We've got the talent.
Not saying this means we're going on to the GC, but this might just be a catalyst to get us past the block of the past six weeks.

i agree with you glen but he didn't make mistakes like whitlock has. harris always looked good for us him and mccarty suited each other well is more where the comment was geared to. but good to see him in the cfl.

With Lumsden and CMC in the plans to start the season, it made little sense at the time to have another back in the same mould. Having a slasher type gave us more flexibility.
That said I still don't like the way DM threw Harris under the bus.
I will not, for a moment longer, support an organization who chooses to cowardly kneel where they once fiercely & proudly stood

Good news and I'm glad that he is back. He is a good threat at running. one thing i don't understand is that why do we have talented player's like Ramonce Taylor still on the practice roster, why can't the coach put him in the game and see what he can do. from what i heard this guy is a explosive talented runner at running back and is a very good kick returner also. Just put the guy in the game and see what he can do, that's all.

Probably because Taylor hasn't played a down in the CFL and McCarty is one of the best NI's in the CFL.....

Well, he didn't make the Blue Bombers' roster at the beginning of the season when they stank. That oughta say something.

I believe you're thinking of our other import RB (name escapes me at the moment). We just signed Taylor, I don't believe he's been with any CFL team before.
Re: McCarty expected to play Friday, Davis back at practice...
CMC said that he 'felt 100%' last week but rather than rush him into service they decided to to risk things and rested him an extra week. Good move IMO.
