    GDT: Oct. 30 vs. Toronto

after watching the Esks video by Marc the bit at the end stuck with me...

Kep saying 'BONE on 3, 1-2-3' and everyone yelling out 'Bone!' ... brought shivers.

so... I guess we'll see how many of these guys truly deserve to be part of the venerable BONE.

If they do not utterly and completely destroy the Argos... then I'm really not sure.

How's the weather? It's a freaking winter wonderland here in NW Alberta. We've got our Bing on.

        Miserable, just like our offence
I will not, for a moment longer, support an organization who chooses to cowardly kneel where they once fiercely & proudly stood

I think that we already have the answer to that question...and it is 'not enough'!! Perhaps that is the biggest reason that this organization finds itself where it is today?! The only way that things are going to change is to get those kinds of players back into the organization and that will not happen by watching game film alone. Ultimately, that ends up making recruiting much more difficult because it is no longer about the talent someone possess, but the kind of individual they ...which is not necessarily obvious on the gridiron.

To me it was never about what I accomplished on the football field, it was about the way I played the game.

Team leaders are developed as their careers progress. A first-year player coming in, especially a rookie to pro ball, isn't going to become a leader overnight.

We're looking at cold cold rain and 4C at kickoff. Sounds good to me. Just give me something to ****ing well cheer about.

At the risk of seeming silly what does BONE mean?

Toronto has a good defense...but I hope the Esks still look to run the ball at them. It was what won us our game a couple weeks back in TO and I expect the D will hold up just fine...

What scares me is that this will be Whitlock's first professional game in cold conditions. He has had problems with footing before in the past...I am hoping that he does not have those problems tonight.

I want to put this out there. I'm not predicting the following, but I've seen much stranger things happen.

The Esks will beat the Argos tonight. Calgary is coming on and could very well beat the Leos. That sets up a clash on the Wet Coast next week for third place. Don't rule out the chance that the Esks could upset the Leos next weekend. I've been following this league for longer than most of you have been alive and I've seen much stranger things happen.

I know some of you will think I'm on drugs, but this could all happen. If we finish third, this would bring about a much different mood around here.

Just sayin'. Go, Esks, go. Go, Stamps.

I'll be in my usual seat cheering hard. Let's make lots of noise.

I believe it was the Riders who beat the Stamps in 83 to let us make the playoffs.

To this day, I still cheer for the Riders a little from time to time for that help.
