From bad to worse for Kamau. Hoping that he can at least re-join the team in 9 games!

If it's the KP from 2008, he'll be sorely missed. But if it's him from last season, not so much. Talbot should be able to pick up the slack if only they'd throw to him!!

With Talbot, Nowacki and Smith as non-import receivers and the way KP has played the past two seasons, this isn't a devastating loss.

The Edmonton Eskimos have announced that non-import receiver Kamau Peterson has been moved to the nine-game injured list due to a slight Achilles tear.

Tough break.
IMO he can be replaced adequately on the field.
But his loss in the locker room will be much more significant. He's a leader and right now this team needs all of that they can get.

I'm not so fluent on how the 9-game works. If a player is on the 9-game list does that mean they aren't allowed to be in the locker room or around the team until they are ready to return?
