    " That Jackson Play"

You know the one I'm referring to. Why the F did he take a knee.

If that was his decision then he better be cut in mere minutes.

and should it been a coaches decision. Then fire him now.

Best he take a knee in that situation rather than risk a fumble trying to get an extra 2-3 yards. He has been pure **** in recent games and was actually replaced by KC early in the 1st quarter, but then he got hurt.

Looks like Rector may draw back in next week and hopefully Talbot will be able to go in for KP whose career is likely now over.

I disgree. He had the ball secured after having fumbled it a bit when he got the ball. He had open space to make yards and more importantly run some time off the clock. If you're taking a knee because you're afraid you're going to fumble it, then IMO you are a quitter. And no need for you on the team. Good Bye. Ditto for a coach , if you're telling your player to do that, then you have no business coaching.

Jackson should be history after that stupid play.
Maciocia, Hall, Strasser, Hairston and Thorpe are finally all gone. The rest will take care of itself.

Good luck Kavis Reed and the rest of the Esks' new coaching staff!

He had one side of the field to run to. Even if he gains nothing he kills time.

exactly. stupid decision. I hope I wake up tomorrow and read he's been released. I'd like to know whos call it was... if it was all Jackson, and we weren't so injury depleted his ass would have been stapled to the bench, but since we where, then I'm not sure whos call it was.,

In my opinion.. it looks like the Eskimos had guys on each side anticipating a possible onside kick. Leaving him no protection and a free run by the BC special teams on either side. He probably did the smart thing and took a knee instead of trying to run into 4 guys.

There was 2 guys 10 yards away. he had an open field to run and take time off. It was not a good/smart call.

I agree.... Also, he was already showing signs of being injured why risk further injury - I am not sure we can afford anymore broken players...

                    Re: " That Jackson Play"

Wasn't a fan of the play, but I can understand the rational of it, the coaches would have told him not to do something stupid and risk fumbling the ball. He had near zero blocking as the team was expecting an on-side, and he probably panicked when he juggled the ball.

It was a conservative play, but he wasn't going to gain much in terms of yardage or kill much time, and if he was freaking about possession on the play, than I'd rather him to just go down in that situation, than risk losing focus on the play and doing something really stupid RE: put it on the ground, while surrounded by nothing but BC players.

Special teams blocking was non-existant all night. I wasn't a fan of the play that for sure but how do you blame TJ for that? That was a coaching decision. What's worse was the 2nd and 5 and we run another predictable run play, should have done a QB option.

                        Re: " That Jackson Play"

With the hands team in there is very little blocking. That being said Jackson could have put two hands on the ball and gotten to the 30 (took a knee at the 23) as there was no lion for a few yards. That would have made BC drive longer for the field goal.

Missed most of the game what happened to KC, and why is KPs carear likely over?

                          KC - Concussion
KP - Ruptured achilles (Don't personally think this is a career ender....)
