    I'm done with the Riders

    I can't take the suffering and heartbreak anymore. I've had to endure years of torture and will no longer do so. Being a Rider fan is like being in an abusive relationship. Promises that they'll never do it again, and what do they do over and over? Lose and break our hearts young and old.

    I'll get flamed at this, laughed at and I fully expect that. Will there be disappointment with this team? Yes for sure, but not to the extent the Riders have done to their fans. They're an embarrassment to their fans. I will now like many others laugh at their misfortunes. It's time for an Eskimos Jersey, # to be determined.

    Personally, as much as I hate the Riders, you have a good team and will be a good team for a while. Durant made a mistake. He's young and relatively inexperienced those type of things will happen. He's a good QB and will only get better. I really thought the Riders would pull it out. Montreal while playing good where still leaving the Riders in the game which imo is dangerous. No reason to hang your head imo.

      Are Riders fans allowed to change teams? You must be a new Riders fans to just decide to up and change. I'm been an Esks fans for 33 yrs, my team is in shambles right now no but I would never stop cheering for them.
      Blindly accept whatever they do and if it doesn't work out, I guess there's always next year.

        In order to stop being a rider fan, doesn't one have to discover a method of reversing the lobotomy???
        I will not, for a moment longer, support an organization who chooses to cowardly kneel where they once fiercely & proudly stood

          The Question of whether or not he is a Riderfan is MOOT - the question is WHY would you guys want him?

            Agreed. I think it would take the majority if Riders fans years of intense mental therapy to reverse the brain washing. Plus they have to be taught how to think logically. I'm sure there are 1000's of Riders fans blaming the refs for that pass interference call that reversed a interception. There was a guy in front of me losing his mind after that call. It didn't matter the Riders player tackled the Als receiver before the ball got anywhere near him. It didn't matter that on the 2 or 3 storey High Def screen you could see the Riders players arm wrapped around the receiver dragging him down before the ball got there, the ref "needed to get a clue" and totally screwed the Riders on that call.
            Blindly accept whatever they do and if it doesn't work out, I guess there's always next year.

              Terrible coaching. The fake punt was not shocking at all. Once again special teams embarrassed an entire nation. The Riders haven't had accountability since Austin, it is evident that won't change. Jim Daley wouldn't have lasted half the season with Austin or Tillman in charge. Yes the Eskimos maybe in shambles but they're headed in the right direction. The Riders always find a way to disappoint and frustrate their fans, it's what they do best.

                      Right. So you're going to give up on a team that has been in the Grey Cup game 3 of the last 4 years for a team that has missed the playoffs 3 of the last 5 years and just hired a sex offender as GM.

                        Sex offender? Is Eric Tillman a registered sex offender?
