Sorry to see him go, but not surprised. He rarely filled in as a backup on the D-line. Best of luck landing somewhere else Justin. Thanks for the years slugging it out on special teams!
Hope, at the end of the day connects us all, no matter how different we are

unsung, solid ST demon. These are the type of character NI's this team needs......but of course he was brought in by the past regime so.....Sonic can bring in his own NI no-names from the Riders scrap heap.

Kinda surprised by this move. An excellent ST player that will be missed. With our abundance of import DE's last year he did not get much time on D as previous years but he was not a liability when he did. To me he has shown more than Stadnyk. A character guy that was an outstanding CIAU player.

Pretty sure this Justin Cooper is already off our scrap heap

at the end of the day, this team has won, no more than 7-9 games in the past 3 or 4 years.. the type of player on our roster need to change..
alot of the moves are gonna cause unrest for most of us.. but i`m about wins losses... and whatever it teakes to win grey cups

I agree with you, whatever it takes to win Grey Cups. BUT it doesn't take a complete roster overhaul were we lose solid role players to do that. We need impact players on O and D to help us win more games. We have great special teams but it seems like our moves are taking players away from that area and not adding them elsewhere.

and its not like our special teams where lights out.... Sure he was good, but it's not like he's irreplaceable. Someone else will have to step up. I have no issues with this move I'm sure others will, because its ET

Third rd pick for us in 08 from U of Manitoba. You should look at him though. No problems with 13 men on the field when Cooper was with us.

Our coaches are gonna need a huge pat on the back for putting all the pieces together to form a solid team, but I have confidence in Kavis and crew!

I'm pretty sure Tillman could quit and some people would complain that he did...just because it was him that made the move! We're still three months away from anything so I'm not too worried just yet.

Thanks - wonder who I'm thinking of - small undersized offensive lineman named Cooper I was sure was with us in 2009 - but sometimes I imagine things

Solid player on ST's though I was under the impression his play on the teams slipped last season.
