Odd signing in a lot of ways, and I'd venture it's unrelated to Hinse, as Washburn's a tackle (reps at RT today). He doesn't have the kind of resume that screams practice roster, but I also can't see the Esks utilizing two import on the active roster either. At 31, he's also not really a future prospect like the soon-to-turn 24 Zipp Duncan.

With Wojt and high profile FA signing, Brian Ramsay, able to play RT, I'm not sure what purpose this signing has when we've got to cut down from 75 to 68 tonight.

ET traded for Washburn in Sask already, so this is more of the old guard...that's what purpose it has.

He seems like a stellar athlete. Maybe they want a veteran import to go with a younger one. Not sure how old parquet is?

From what I've heard in interviews it sounds like they really want to start two imports on the o line. They really want to make protecting RR a high priority this year and they seem to think that starting two imports on the o line is just the ticket.

To me this appears like a change in direction based on what they have seen in camp so far

it suggests perhaps that your CDN receivers are out performing expectations and you are able to start 2 cdn's in your 5 pack
or it suggests Lopez is outperforming and they think they do not need an extra import LB in a backup position
or it just suggests your CDN OT's look very bad

either way its about playing imports in the positions that they will make the biggest impact

how about you decide - you piss on me if I say ours you piss on me if I say yours - how about you make up your own mind and then let me post one way or the other without having to justify what pro noun I use

on topic I see that Fiacconi and Hinse are both down - so this may be simply necessitated by injury - see how clever I was I used neither "you" nor "us" but maybe you guys can make this a poll question - and get back to me
