    Re: Esks sign Preche Rodriquez

The way receivers are dropping this year, I'd keep him. The guy has talent, great size and has experience.
Blindly accept whatever they do and if it doesn't work out, I guess there's always next year.

        no heart.

the line on him is that he quits on routes and gives up on any ball that is not thrown right to him.
Before you insult a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you insult him, you'll be a mile away, and have his shoes.

How could you tell how he was as a receiver? He had only a couple of days with the playbook and Ray/Joseph spent the entire game on their ass. Pretty tough to judge a receivers play from that game.

You can tell when a guy gives up on a ball thrown his way pretty easy.

"This year, we did what we were supposed to do. We fought as a team. We fought as a team. And the fact is, we gotta go back and go to work, to make sure we finish this next time. That's all we gotta do. This right here makes us stronger. Let's understand who we are as a team. Let's understand this right here makes us stronger." - Ray Lewis, January, 2012.

                    I agree with you 100%
PR could easily have knocked that ball away or at least tried to knock it out of the defenders hands.

I'm not prepared to complain about the play of receivers that were only with the team a few days before the game.

                          Why not?

As part of the Offensive line, you had no issue with Tyler and Patrick? The same applies to them....or the coach for that matter having to get them ready in a couple days.

It's not about him being here for a couple of days.....its the book on him from other organizations, and from first glance looks to be holding true.

I agree - not a fan of Prechae - but Kruck seems to be - but who do you keep a guy who gives up but catches the ball if it gets to him? or a guy who tries hard and drops the ball when it comes? (Grice Mullen)

good thing you get at least Bowman back -

IMO, you better have the irons hot on some NFL cuts, use the next couple weeks as a last ditch chance for either of them, and cut bait the first signs of their old habits holding true.

I don't think either are long term safety nets regardless, and if they don't perform we may as well have some new kids try and cut their teeth.

                                I agree completely

and suspect over the next week or so two or three of these interim replacements will get jettisoned - permanently or temporarily - depending on which NFL cuts agree to terms and who gets healthy
