    practice update

Yo folks, I was back at practice today and I noticed..
-Ryan Grice-Mullen and Rodriguez will become Ricky's best friends until everyone is healthy again.
-Bowman back at practice and even though coach Kavis wants him to rest more he's starting to look game ready again.
-Nate Coehoorn burned Donovan Alexander a few times, he could tear apart BC if he plays on friday.
-New o lineman Chris Patrick looked good today, hopefully he will help Ricky's jersey stay nice and clean.

    Then things got goofy...
-Derek Schiavone was running routes today! He actually didn't look all that bad although not too many balls came his way.
I'll have some audio up later on from Ricky, Kavis, and TJ Hill.

Great stuff, Av. I wish they would give Coehoorn more playing time. Maybe the plan is bring him along slowly. He might show up our big FA signing. Nice to hear good things about Patrick, let's just hope he doesn't go MIA like some other linemen when the war starts.

Not sure why anyone would talk about this after watching a practice.

I understand what you are saying Beerfish although I am sure no other teams visit fan sites. On to Mongo the TE with the way Ryan Bomben has caught passes this year I am sure other teams may try to get an O-Lineman out to see what kind of hands they have.
Run the Ball up the gut around the horn it does not matter. We run we win what is so difficult to understand.

I think you would be shocked to know the truth then.

Yes, you indeed would... from accross the league they are now monitored by pr staff, who, may not understand the nuances of what is being said or the importance of it, sometimes even players and football ops staff/management will monitor. Especially the title of a thread with the word "practice"...good intel, injuries, observations.

Still, nothing compares to the film..it doesn't lie. So I wouldn't worry about it, Benne has more problems this week than game planning to cover him in the redzone....

Would be exciting to see him take it to the house.

Today on the Eskimos podcast Kavis talked a little about that and he basically said that rookie receivers take a lot of time and development. And IMO coming into the season I thought Parker would have had a decent look and have more than one rush for 7 yards and 1 catch for 8 yards by now. But with all these injuries I thought it might be a good chance for him to get some reps. I haven't noticed him but has he seen any offensive reps in game?
                New coach, different results?

I figureed Preech and RGM would become Ray's favorite friends right now.. RGM = Stamps and Preech = Bowman / Barnes. ( NOT in skill , but appearances )

I"d love to see Coehoorn get some playing time on O. Would be interesting to see what he can bring to the game. As far as I know he has not seen any Offensive Reps yet.

I sure hope Coehoorn shines as wel, or at least has a chance to shine.

                      Fridays Game against B.C. LIons;....
Sidelined; DB Rod Williams with a hamstring issue. From practice roster onto the roster is DB W. Osaisai.
Julius Coston is out with knee problems so newbie LT Devin Tyler may/will make his way to the O-Line.
Grice-Mullen, Dobson Collins and Prechae Rodriguez are slated to play also.

Reed is comfortable with Armstead for the punt return game RGM may drop back on kickoffs

Lets Go Eskies we need this win before the Bye week

Hook and ladder on 1? Kabongo, this is the play where you wander around downfield and act like you're lost...
