    "Oh Henry" Chants?!

    If #89 keeps it up and keep making big catches on the home games we should all get up and do the waves and shout "ohhhhhh Henry!"

    The wave was outdated and lame 10 years ago, and Montreal did the Oh Henry thing by chucking the chocolate bars onto the field 15 years ago....

    what else ya got?

      A curious fact: although the wave is done at stadia of dramatically different sizes all over the world and for all sorts of sports, the length of time it takes for that wave to go around the stadium is always almost exactly the same.

        IIRC, Crazy George claims to have originated/instigated it by mistake at an Oilers home game in the 80's.

        Though I'm sure that's of little interest to glenvb, as that factoid is not quantitative

            George has claimed it, but it appears that the Wave has occurred prior to that happening in '81 at the Oilers game:
