Agreed. Firing him now does nothing.

However, lists should be compiled now for his replacement, and if there are any outside the league's current employment they should be contacted to gauge interest and availability.

The league and media are so far up our asses for anything we do, more bad optics isn't what we need....anyone gets a sniff of any poking around, and the social media circle jerk will get the ball rolling on more of the same.

The Esks media problems is the product of having done a lot of really stupid things for no good reason and that really didn't have to be done... they have a good reason to do this, and everyone does it, so just don't grandstand about doing it

He's been more harm than good all year. I don't really see the point of firing him during the season any more, all's already lost... and I say that as a leading member of the Fire Kavis faction. Have the apple and roadmap ready for the final whistle Nov 2nd.

The really sad thing is, I get a feeling they'll play their best football of the season the next 4 games (not that it would take much), now that there is nothing to play/coach for.

Awesome I'll look forward to seeing us only lose by 14-20 points.

Well, the Oilers have now set the standard for sports teams in Edmonton. Eakins got them a win in the SO after being down 3-0 for most of the game. Made some adjustments in the 2nd INT and the Oilers just exploded in the third.

See, Kavis? These half-time adjustments actually work...but only if you bother to do them...
