Fan appreciation night?????

Did I miss the pomp and pageantry that the Eskimos rolled out to show their appreciation to their devoted fans??? Thanks for the breakfast sandwich.

They gave away a trip to grey cup. Oooooooh hold back the love and affection for your fans.
Saw a whole lot of disappointed kids who didn't get a chance at a football because there was nobody giving them away except the fire truck.

EPIC FAIL!!!!

Santa's anonymous did well but think they could have done way better if there was more/some promotion. On the Eskimos TV commercial there was no mention of the event.

Ouch Ben, who p**d in your cornflakes. I agree with Wilkie on this. I was at the game and wasn't aware it was fan appreciation night until they awarded the Grey Cup trip. Of course I tend to tune out most of the unending stream of MWA, MWA, MWA from the speaker system as I'm talking about the game with the folks around me.

Also, wouldn't have known it was Santas Anonymous collection night unless I'd read it on this forum. So, yes the Esks need to do a better job communicating to the world about these special events. I probably doesn't help that some parts of the organization have a rocky relationship with some of the local media.

But seriously, to me it just comes across as self entitled. I go CW because I enjoy being there and watching the game, not because I expect the Esks organization to give free stuff and pat me on the back about what a good fan I am, I couldn't care less about that stuff.

Also, I did hear several ads on CHED about this being the Santa's Anonymous game, so I was aware of it before it became a thread here.

Nothing extra I saw in the game. At least the Oilers get it right, tshirt cannons, etc. The in game experience is so pathetically designed and executed, it adds nothing to the fan experience of ....."Enjoying the game"

All it does is cater to sponsors. It should and always cater to paying customers.

And now we have a noticeable lack of replays during the action. What's that replay board for again???

agreed. I use be so excited to go to CW for a game.. over the past years its been a MEH event. The gameday experience for fans is garbage. has been for years and really I don't see if ever improving...now you combined the poor gameday experience, with the incompetence of Reed, Marshall.. why bother going.. I'm not at sponsor so I dont matter I guess...


and I've noticed the lack of replays... wtf.. why not...... This franchise use to be the envy of the league from top to bottom... wtf happened.. All people who are responsible for this crap should be publicly flogged for this.
