    Rider/Eskimo predictions

I ain't making one. I know who should win.

I just don't know what our coach has planned.

Esks in a walk. Game won't be without its moments... KK will find open space on occasion... but for the most part it'll be all for naught... too little too late.

No predictions here (No freaking way will I jinx anything)........we need a big win to get back on track. I hope we get it..........that's all.

Now that you've asked the question one of this site's stats wizards will likely get that info for you.

BTW... nobody thought the '89 riders would beat the 16-2 Esks either. The Esks will have their consecutive playoff streak broken someday as well. It's not a matter of if... just when.

and as for the 'walk' ... what did you expect?

                  This Sunday.

I don't predict a blowout by any means, I would say that it'll be 10-15 point Eskies win. I agree that KK will have a few good runs and the biggest problem for us will be containing him. Corey Holmes is also a threat on punt returns as he can give them good field position if ST's doesn't do their part. I'm not worried about Sask's passing game.

36-12 Eskies. No QB= no points against a very good Esks D. Ray will bounce back. Sorry Sask, we pissed off the Eskies and they will unleash their fury on you this weekend.
As long as the Riders lose anything they set out to do it is a great day!!!

Ask and it shall be given to you... Sept. 29, 2001: Edmonton 35, Saskatchewan 19. Ony 18K fans in attendance that night to watch the Riders get ridden.

It's about time we repeated that night.

The biggest issue in the game IMO is the Riders won't have Andrew Greene up front in this one. That will probably slow our running game down. Even so, Edmonton is good against the rush anyway. On the other side, I like the matchup between the Edmonton o-line and our front seven. I think the Edmonton o-line is brutal and I'm not impressed with the rb's.

I look for a defensive struggle and the difference will be a key play on defence or special teams.

It's kind of early, but I say Riders 21, Eskimos 18

Corey Holmes will make the difference...I hope...
