    Dear Mr. Maciocia,

    Good play calling.

    Seriously.

    Regards,

    Sgt. Nuke

P.S. Sorry if I spelled your name wrong.
I officially retract my vote for DDS as Prime Minister. He's clearly incompetent.

      Dear Mr Maciocia,

It'll take more than a win for me to like you.

I'll at least give you this, thanks for adding the long ball to the game and the new plays in the second half.

Maybe if you win another Cup I'll start liking you.

        Danny
You seem like a nice guy, I don't hate you, really. Just frustrated with the play calling the past two seasons, that's all. Yes, I know we won the Grey Cup last year, but we barely made the playoffs - that's not good.

Saw you on the tv last night talking about 3 Grey Cup appearances & two cups in the last four years and how despite this Edmonton expects more.

We're all appreciative of the Grey Cups and the wins, but what makes us different from other fans is not that we are over demanding. It's that we don't rest on our laurels Mr. Maciocioa. And we don't expect our team and our coaches to do so. So please stop talking about what plays worked in last years Grey Cup and what got you a win last year, because nobody in Edmonton cares about that. You should be focused on what's gonna get you back to the Grey Cup this year!

We expect to get into the playoffs this year not because of some North American streak. Hell, all streaks end. We expect to get there because of the talent we have on the football field. The rest is in the hands of our GM, our coaches, and you. It's not about pressure, it's about successfully doing the job when you have the tools to get it done. You have the tools.

Good luck with the rest of the season. And just one more word of advice. If you do turn it around, if we do make it to the playoffs or the Grey Cup, please please please don't preach to us at the end of the season about how you knew you could turn it around. Cause frankly Danny, you shouldn't be in this awful situation in the first place

        Take it to the Lions!!!
Hope, at the end of the day connects us all, no matter how different we are

          Re: Dear Mr. Maciocia,

          Dear Danny,

The play calling was more of what the Eskimo fans are used to seeing. More deep ball, and 15 carries for your RB. Davis got 91 yards on those 15 carries so have confidence in him and give him the ball early and often.

Trevor Gaylor is and should continue to start. He is good, and his time on the bench has started a fire in his belly. Nice 44 yard TD reception tonight.

You've been to 4 grey cups and won 2. I don't care. Its all about the now. This team has the talent to go there again. Make it happen. Make a Dynasty (3 out of 4 years) and then I will see you as a bonifide championship coach. Untill then you are still a bum.

            Re: Dear Mr. Maciocia,

I still don't know why this guy is getting off so light.

We started the game with a 15 yard run (all Eskimo offensive plays this year start with a run). We then played the same predictable game we have played for the past three years).

It wasn't until the second half did we mix things up (Bertrand, Maurier, and whatnot).

Danny, you are getting off easy this week.

              Re: Dear Mr. Maciocia,

Can you design a run play that gives the ball to another runner other than Davis? It would be nice to do a flip play to Hervey on a misdirection or run Mauer or Bertrand on a reverse once in a while. Would variety and throwing off the opponent not be a good thing once in a while. Also entertaining the fans is nice too.

Or Davis and Dahren Deidrick (sp?) at the same time.

                  Oh, crap, I forgot.

                  Still hate that player move.

It was obviously because Deidrick was not a good influence in the locker room

Haven't seen a mention of this...

What'd everyone think of Flemming kicking the ball from his own goalline?

I remember at the time just assuming he was going to run back and concede the safety (at the time, we were up by 6 points), and then he kicked it to about the 50... and the nthe run back to the 20.

I mean, was I the only person who thought that was absolutely retarded? The difference between a 6 point and a 4 point game isn't that big, and our D had been playing pretty well up to that point, why not give them the two points and take the 30 yards in field position?

                        Yes? No? I'm crazy?

Was nice to finally see the long ball. And actually see Tucker run a corner.

Let's understand this right here makes us stronger." - Ray Lewis, January, 2012.

I thought they were going to concede the safety as well. Especially considering all the missed tackles we saw on SP teams. Instead of giving up two they were instantly in range for three.

you are absolutely correct. I know hindsight is 20-20, but that one was a no brainer IMO......instead of giving up 2 points we gave up a sure 3 and nearly 7.....
