    NFL Cuts

Just curious, I didn't hear anything, but did the esks pick-up any guys who were cut in the NFL? Are there even any guys worth taking a look at?

I know Morley was mentioned earlier...has anyone heard any updates.

The Esks had 4 guys on their neg list that were cut QB Brett Basinez (since signed to some nfl practice squad) QB Timmy Chang and QB Stefan Lefors, not sure if they were psquad bound. Receviers David Terrell and Fred Stamps (yeah that is the guys real name). Terrell was a big time high draft choice so even though he has bumped around from team to team down there I'd be a bit surprised if he came up here. Stamps, I have no idea. No news of anyone new coming in from Hall or Huntington as far as I've heard.

This sort of overlaps with another topic, but having a look to see if there is another 2005 Thompkins flipping burgers now after being but, wouldnt be all that bad.
Blindly accept whatever they do and if it doesn't work out, I guess there's always next year.

News column a few days back by 'Scoops' Vicky Hall as far as the player names are concerned. (As in some players that are on our neg list.)

Seems to me Morely did okay up here... wanted his shot at "the bigs" first but caught on to our game pretty well.

Morely from most accounts is a bit of a nut job. There might be personality issues around bringing him in.

I wouldn't mind seeing David Terell brought up. He's still young and could replace someone in our receiving corps for NEXT YEAR. That may be something the Esks should look at since I think Ed Hervey may be gone anyways.

What.... like Chris Braswell wasn't a little "different" between the goal posts!!We have had personalities here before(Wadell Smith) and have gotten mileage from them. Should this morely kid be any different?
