Looks like Peca is pretty much telling the Oilers he doesn't plan to be back next year. Usually you get the same old, (whatever city) is a great place to play, I like playing here, the fans are great and at the end of the year, I will way my options and see what happens. Peca goes out and says, I got options for changes next year.
At least he was man enough to say he have been playing like crap the entire year.

Good. He was a bust anyways. There are better players to focus on re-signing anyways.

Huge bust this year, he played like he didn't want to be here 9/10ths of the year.

He just doen't have the footspeed to excell in the western conference. Plus being away from his family probably has taken a toll on him. His 4mil will be put to good use = SAMSONOV

Pouliet better be ready next year, I see him taking Peca's spot. I've heard alot of people say Pouliet is an offensive center, but from what I've seen of him he's great defensivly and a great set-up man oozing potential.

Considering he's telling teams that he doesn't want to be away from home and that his play sucks, I hope he's not thinking that one of his options is playing in the NHL.

It wasn't a shock I knew awhile ago he probably wouldn't be back. His family is in NY and he just didnt put out this year

Yorks numbers arent much better than Pecas and Yorks game is supposed to be scoring. At least Peca is good in his know zone and good on the draw, York wasnt. We wouldnt be any better if York was still in our line up.
