I'm cheering for Ottawa Senators

    I'm cheering for Ottawa Senators

    For the following reasons:

    1. They remind me of the Stanley Cup Champions Oilers in their young days.

    2. We'll get to see them in HD (CBC will move the HD camaeras out of Toronto for the playoffs).

    3. I can't cheer for anyone else.

    At least until I jump back on the bandwagon.

    1 day later and I am still pissed at the Oilers.

          Could they make the playoffs? Sure.
          Will they make the playoffs? In my honest opinion, I'd say the odds are stacked against them. But until their officially eliminated, this Oiler fan will hold out hope.

                            I've decided the Oilers are going to finish 5th.

                            What the hell. Hope is a lot more fun than despair, and optimism is easier on my blood pressure than negativity.
                            So in that spirit I've officially decided to disregard logic and common sense and say

                            THE OILERS WILL FINISH 5TH AND WIN A PLAYOFF ROUND.
