Nice! I didn't go with such a big longshot. If I was betting I probably would have boxed 13 (Simplification) at 40-1 in with a couple of favourites.

Considering Rich Strike was an add to the field a day before the race, I didn't even think to look at what he was all about - probably wouldn't have picked him even after looking at his numbers. The horse didn't even earn $40k as a two-year-old. What ever insight or intuition you had on picking Rich Strike, good on ya!

I liked the 3 so I took 3 all and all 3 cost me 38 bucks.
Wound up winning 2050 bucks.
Gonna donate some to the humane society and some to the stollery, take Mrs Baylis out for a nice dinner and then save the rest for beers for game days =)

2022 was better the best hit I've ever had horse racing. Funny thing is I gave my wife 50 bucks from it and then she went off and won 850 bucks playing slots lol.
