    2010 NHL Playoffs Thread

...might as well get a thread we can keep this all in.

So, Jose Theodore sucks during the playoffs and let in two easy ones. Anyone surprised? They should've had Varlamov in from the beginning.

    Geesh, they're still playing hockey?!

Those teams need to get on the Oilers schedule, they haven't been playing since November!
Look. We can go round and round about this all the live long day. Let's keep it simple. I embody amazement. Can you dig on that? Good. Then meet me on the corner of rock and roll, and bring a flask of something that burns.

What's with the two guys dressed as the "Green Turds" at the Canucks games?

If you are going to dress in something that bright and tight, one should have the physique to back it up. Of course, CBC is all over it being the intrepid reporters they are ...

It's Green Man. I'm not sure if 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' started it, but he's a re-occuring character on the show.

I was laughing more at the guy with the 'Canada Believes in the Canucks' poster wearing a Team Russia jersey.

Combine that with the crowd chanting 'O Canada' as the singer tried to start singing the American anthem, and that they stole the Edmonton 'let the crowd sing during O Canada' thing....that was an interesting pre-game show.

          It's based off a friend of Rob McElhenny... the origin story of Green Man;

Green Man works perfectly for the Charlie character too.

Dammit....screw the Canucks/Kings, now I gotta turn on some old It's Always Sunny episodes.

Kings win.... Smyth made a ****ing FANTASTIC play about :30 prior to the goal to keep the puck in the zone.

What an amazing start to the playoffs.

              5 games tomorrow!

I picked about 8 Canucks in my playoff pool.

I figured if they go a long way I've got a good chance of winning some money.
If not, well, it won't bother me one bit to see guys like Burrows and the sisters lose.

                  No they didn't.
Vancouver did that before the Oiler fans ever did.

                    Nope.

Vancouver didn't make the playoffs in 05-06, and they definitely weren't doing it in 03-04.

It was done first by Van in 06-07.... a year after we did it.

Hmmm. Could have sworn they did it before the Oiler fans.

                      Oh well.

As for the action right now, I don't know how it's not 3-0 or 4-0 for SJ but Craig Anderson is standing on his head for Colorado right now. Unreal.

Shots are 50-14. What a performance from Anderson...

Good thing we went out and signed Khabby to a 4 year monster deal when Anderson was sitting there with almost no suitors...

Anderson is paying a game for the ages.

Sharks are making high percentage plays, getting bodies to the net, and making cross crease plays.... Anderson has just been ****ing fantastic, this game should easily be 6 or 7 nothing.

                          Shots were 42-6 over the 2nd & 3rd period.
